Saturday: Reaction To Our Kayaking Report

Our report from Thursday described professional kayakers enthusiastically tackling the Black River as it surged during this week's flood emergency. It quoted one of the kayakers describing the safety precautions they take, but also spoke with local fire and emergency officials, who said they were concerned about the activity.
