Zorka Hujsova

Zorka’s enthusiasm for canoeing has been with her since she was a child paddling at her local flatwater canoe club in Bratislava, Slovakia. When her brother took up canoe slalom, he introduced her to the sport that she’s now heavily involved with organising major International events for.

Most recently, Zorka was on the organising committee for the 2011 Canoe Slalom World Championships. She has helped organise the Slovak Open several times, and currently works for the Slovak Canoe Association.

She began by photographing and writing articles for canoe slalom canoeslalomnews.com. Her knowledge and capabilities as a writer and photographer will benefit Sportscene across the board.

Zorka has a diploma in Interior design, and has worked in Architecture in the past, which she still keeps in touch with by contributing to www.interiermagazin.sk. She’s pleased to now also be contributing to Sportscene, where canoeing information for all disciplines can be found at the one place.
