Mikel Sarasola

Mikel was born and raised in San Sebastián, where he still resides. He studied Building Engineering and lives and breathes kayaking. Mikel has attended Kayaking events across the Globe and brings an in-depth knowledge and passion for paddling to the Sportscene Team.

During his career Mikel has represented Spain in both Slalom and Freestyle events and is a Spanish National Champion.  Mikel still paddles regularly at a competitive level and coaches those starting out. Mikel is also the official Spanish dealer for SANDLINE, a Slovenian brand specialized in kayaking equipment.

Mikel will be a valuable addition to the Sportscene team and will cover a range of events and topics with compressive analysis of all major European events.
