Casper van Kalmthout

Born on the 17th of October 1985 in The Netherlands. Started kayaking in 1995. The advantage of being a Dutch kayaker is that the flat country provokes you to travel as much as possible to the mountains. This is how a hobby turned into a passion for surfing big waves, running big rapids and enjoying the lifestyle, fun and foolishness that comes with this sport and all the people around it. For these reasons my kayak has brought me all the way to New-Zealand, Australia, South-America, California, Canada, Uganda, China and a great variety of European countries. At home I play on the oceanwaves and practice every action sport if the circumstances allow it!
