The Competition
The Australian Open will be held in Penrith 18th to the 20th of February 2011. During this time, we expect to welcome more than 200 athletes, coaches and officials from around the world to Penrith. Located at the foothills of the picturesque Blue Mountains on the Western edge of Sydney, The Penrith Whitewater Stadium was the venue for the spectacular canoe/kayak slalom competition at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and both venues have been host to many major international events since.
