Richard Fox to stay as Aussie canoe chief
Guy Dresser | Royal Canoe Club - Britain’s former ten-time canoe slalom world champion Richard Fox has been reappointed as National Performance Director by Australian Canoeing.
Fox, a vice-president of the International Canoe Federation, is a highly visible figure in world canoeing, cropping up frequently as a pundit on the ICF’s TV productions and playing a leading role in the sport’s development.
As well as revelling in his own canoeing achievements, he’s now also the parent of an Olympic medalist – daughter Jessica Fox won silver at the London Games.
