Rowing and Canoeing Centre Krylatskoye
The Moscow Canoeing and Rowing Basin is a canoe sprint and rowing venue located in the Krylayskoye Sports Complex in Moscow, Russia.
Constructed in 1973, the venue hosted the canoeing and rowing competitions for the 1980 Summer Olympics. It will be the host venue for the 2014 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships.
The Moscow course is 2340 meter long. It has two waterways: the basic - 125 meter wide one with nine lanes equipped with the Albano system and the return canal is 75 meter wide. The depth of both is 3 meter. The basic and the return waterways are divided by an island. There are two connecting canals between de competition and warm up waterways for access to the start (600 meter and 1100 meter). For the start the Albano system is used.
